Job Description

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage the complete monthly payroll cycle for all

employees using Zoho Payroll, including salary calculation, tax deductions (TDS, PF,

ESI, Professional Tax, etc.), and final disbursement.

System Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain employee records, salary

components, statutory components, and loan/deduction details accurately within the

Zoho Payroll system.

Compliance Management: Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable Indian labor

laws and statutory regulations (e.g., PF, ESI, Gratuity, Income Tax/TDS) and generate

required statutory reports from the system.

Leave and Attendance Integration: Integrate and reconcile data from Zoho People (or

similar HRMS) with Zoho Payroll for accurate attendance and leave-based payment

calculations.

Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform monthly payroll reconciliation and generate

crucial reports (e.g., salary register, bank statements, liability reports) for finance and

management review.

Employee Support: Handle all employee queries related to payroll, deductions, tax

calculations, and pay slips efficiently and accurately.

Year-End Activities: Manage annual compliance activities, including Form 16

generation, tax declarations, and final settlement processing within Zoho Payroll.
