Payroll Operations & Compliance Associate (Australian Payroll)

Location: Onsite Mumbai Office | Kurla (Close too BKC) Company: Ozback Services Group Timing : 06:00-15:00 Service Type: Full-time (Work from Office only) The Opportunity We are looking for a Payroll Operations & Compliance Associate to support our payroll team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services for our Australian clients. This role involves hands-on processing, payslip verification, data entry, and team collaboration. While prior experience is welcome, were equally open to freshers who bring energy, curiosity, and a high attention to detail. What You’ll Do Payroll Processing & Support Assist with payroll processing for Australian employees, including new hires, changes, and terminations. Reconcile payroll reports and ensure payslips match payroll calculations. Investigate discrepancies and help resolve issues with internal teams and payroll partners. Validate tax calculations, deductions, and leave balances for accuracy. Data Management & Compliance Upload payslips and payroll data into internal and external platforms. Maintain payroll records reflecting compensation changes, tax codes, and benefits. Support compliance with Australian payroll laws, audit requests, and internal controls. Process Improvement & Team Collaboration Help document payroll processes and suggest improvements. Contribute to maintaining a culture of quality, accuracy, and accountability. Collaborate closely with colleagues to meet processing deadlines and service targets. What You’ll Bring A strong desire to learn , work hard, and grow professionally. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately. Good communication skills (spoken and written English). Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a plus. Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines. A positive, team-oriented mindset and respect for confidentiality. Preferred (But Not Required) Exposure to Australian payroll or willingness to learn.
