Job Description

_ Position Name – Payroll Executive _

1. Brief about the position:

A Payroll Executive will be responsible for entire payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role involves processing salaries, calculating deductions, managing benefits, and handling payroll-related queries. Also collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

2. Job Description:

  • Payroll Processing:

Calculating salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions; processing payments through various methods

  • Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records, including timesheets, pay stubs, and tax information.

  • Reports:

Generating and analysing payroll reports for management, including tax filings and other related documents.

  • Query Resolution:

Addressing employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and other compensation-related matters.

  • Collaboration:

Working closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.

  • System Management:

Utilizing and maintaining payroll software, including data entry, updates, and troubleshooting.

  • Reporting to HOD HR

4. Work Location, Language Spoken

  • Vikhroli, Mumbai

5. Skill Set

  • Payroll Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Excel.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify discrepancies, and resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in data entry, calculations, and record-keeping.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management, calculations, analysis, and reporting.
  • Data Entry & Management: Accurate and efficient data entry skills and the ability to manage and maintain large amounts of data.
  • Time Management & Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain organized payroll records.

7. Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate, Postgraduate. Experience 3 years to 5 years.

  • Meeting other HR timelines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
