Payment Operations - Associate

As a candidate for this role, you will be responsible for handling regulatory reporting that needs to be submitted to the regulator(s). Your duties will include scrutinizing documentary evidence in light of the required regulations before processing transactions. You will also be expected to collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Sales, and Product teams regarding transaction handling and any necessary changes from a regulatory perspective. Additionally, you will work with the team to support the rollout of cash products initiatives, including system and technology implementations for clients. Key Responsibilities: - Handling regulatory reporting for submission to the regulator(s) - Scrutinizing documentary evidence in compliance with regulations before processing transactions - Collaborating with Compliance, Legal, Sales, and Product teams for transaction handling and regulatory changes - Supporting the rollout of cash products initiatives, including system and technology implementations Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree - Minimum of 10 years of work experience in Trade Finance or banking-related roles - Strong knowledge of banking norms and regulations, especially the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) guidelines - Thorough understanding of regulations related to current and capital account transactions - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Outstanding interpersonal and partnership skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: - Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus - Chartered Accountant certification is beneficial,
