Job Description:

Lakhotia College of Design is seeking a skilled and passionate faculty member to teach Pattern Making and Garment Construction to our fashion design students. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in the fashion industry and a flair for teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and demonstrate pattern drafting, garment construction, and finishing techniques.
• Conduct practical sessions and supervise student projects.
• Help students understand garment production, sizing, and fittings.
• Guide students on industrial and creative applications of pattern making.
• Collaborate with the fashion faculty team to plan and develop the curriculum.
• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student performance.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of manual and industrial pattern making techniques.
• Expertise in sewing, draping, construction methods, and fabric handling.
• Ability to explain complex processes clearly to beginners.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or Textile Technology.
• Specialization in Pattern Making / Garment Construction.
• Teaching or industry experience preferred.
• Freshers with strong practical knowledge may apply.
