Garment Technician

Responsibilities:

• Develop physical paper patterns for womenswear (woven & knits).
• Oversee and run first sampling with a Mumbai-based tailor before sending samples to the factory.
• Prepare detailed tech packs to ensure accuracy in production.
• Liaise and maintain clear communication with factories during development.
• Ensure fit, finish, and construction meet brand standards.
• Grade patterns to align with our size guide and ensure consistency across sizes.
• (Bonus) Ability to create samples in-house.

Qualifications:

• Based in Mumbai, able to commute to Khar West when required.
• Proven experience as a Garment Technician / Pattern Maker in western womenswear.
• Strong technical knowledge of pattern-making, fit, and garment construction.
• Established network of local tailors and fabric suppliers in Mumbai and across India.
• Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken & written).
• Portfolio and references required.
