Role Overview: Ethos is seeking a Customer Support Associate who excels in assisting customers, resolving issues, and thriving in a fast-paced setting. Ensuring a positive customer experience is crucial for Ethos and plays a pivotal role in our success within the life insurance sector. Key Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service through various channels such as email, live chat, SMS, and phone, addressing inquiries related to all Ethos products - Develop a comprehensive understanding of Ethos products and processes to assist customers and serve as a valuable resource for internal stakeholders - Efficiently identify customer needs and handle requests within specified service levels - Establish rapport with customers through transparent and clear communication - Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and development teams to resolve customer issues effectively - Achieve individual and team objectives in customer support - Identify opportunities for process enhancements within assigned functions and work with management to implement solutions Qualifications Required: - 1-2 years of experience in customer support, customer success, operations, or a related field - Experience in the life insurance industry or a related sector is advantageous but not mandatory - Bachelor's degree is preferred - Proficiency in working with Salesforce or similar support/help desk software - Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity - Effective time management and prioritization abilities - Quick adaptability to changes and tasks while maintaining attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a professional phone presence - Ability to work independently and collaborate with different departments About the Company: Ethos was established to simplify and expedite the process of obtaining life insurance for millions of families.
