Job Description

Role Overview: As a Partner Onboarding Manager at Avalara, you will be responsible for integrating signed Partners into Avalara's Partner Ecosystem. Your primary focus will be guiding partners through the onboarding process to ensure they achieve partner certification, gain access to Avalara's Partner Portal, complete training, and develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan. Your role is crucial in empowering partners to quickly gain traction and maximize their partnership with Avalara. You will report to the Director, Business Development, and this position is based in Pune. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary contact during the onboarding process for signed Partners, ensuring partner certification completion and successful integration into Avalara's systems and Partner Programme. - Facilitate partners" access to Avalara's Partner Portal and guide them in effectively utilizing its resources. - Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to develop detailed sales and marketing plans to support their launch, including identifying early adopters, leveraging tools, customer webinars, and partner trainings. - Communicate with partners regarding any remaining certification requirements and assist them in addressing these items. - Utilize basic knowledge of Avalara APIs to answer technical questions from Partners building a certified integration. - Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, etc.) to provide partners with the necessary resources for success. - Track and report on key metrics, including the number of completed launch projects for signed partners. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, project management, or partner onboarding. - Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and project management. - Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on tracking and achieving launch project goals for each partner. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously. - Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), project management software, and data tracking systems. - Experience in SaaS is preferred.
