MongoDB Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement MongoDB databases for high availability and performance.
• Optimize query performance and manage indexing strategies.
• Develop aggregation pipelines and complex queries.
• Integrate MongoDB with Node.js / Python / Java / other backend frameworks.
• Monitor database health and perform maintenance tasks such as backups, replication, and sharding.
• Collaborate with DevOps for database deployment and CI/CD processes.
• Document database structures, operations, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with

  MongoDB

  (3+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in data modeling and schema design for NoSQL.
• Experience with

  MongoDB Atlas

  ,

  Replica Sets

  , and

  Sharding

  .
• Familiarity with backend languages such as

  Node.js

  ,

  Python

  ,

  Java

  , or

  Go

  .
• Knowledge of

  Mongoose

  or similar ODM tools (for Node.js).
• Solid understanding of

  NoSQL vs. SQL

  concepts.
• Ability to write performant queries and use aggregation pipelines effectively.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• MongoDB Certified Developer Associate.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of other NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
