Part-Time Electrical Technical Associate – Sales & Site Assessment

Job Description:

We are looking for a technically sound Electrical Technician/Associate with hands-on field experience in the power sector, particularly in substations or power stations, to support sales and technical assessments of transformer-based instrumentation and control equipment.

This is a part-time assignment that involves field visits, coordination with utility engineers, technical evaluations, and assistance in the sales process of products like:

• WTI/OTI (Oil/Winding Temperature Indicators)
• Electrical Meters & Instrumentation
• Control Devices for Transformers/Substations

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit substations, power plants, and utility sites for technical assessments.
• Support the sales team with product demonstrations and on-site technical insights.
• Understand customer requirements and offer suitable product solutions.
• Assist in installation, basic testing, or coordination during commissioning where needed.
• Prepare basic site reports and feedback for internal teams.
• Build relationships with site engineers and utility representatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or similar trade.
• 3–4 years of field experience in utilities, substations, transformer yards, or power infrastructure.
• Knowledge of transformer auxiliaries like WTI, OTI, MOG, PRDs, meters, relays, etc.
• Hands-on experience in testing, installation, or commissioning is highly preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and communicate effectively with field engineers.
• Basic reporting and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region on a part-time/project basis.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Field-experienced technician who has worked closely with utility companies or EPC contractors.
• Familiar with working protocols at substation sites.
• Ready to work on assignment basis with flexibility in availability.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per year
