Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily packing operations for frozen and RTE (Ready-to-Eat) food products.
Ensure packing is done as per product specifications, weight, labeling, and hygiene standards.
Monitor staff performance and allocate tasks to packing workers/line staff.
Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) and proper handling of frozen stock.
Ensure adherence to food safety, FSSAI, and quality standards during packing.
Coordinate with production, cold storage, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
Conduct regular checks on packing material (cartons, pouches, labels, etc.) to avoid shortages.
Train and guide workers on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety compliance.
Record daily packing reports, wastage, manpower utilization, and submit to management.
Troubleshoot minor issues in packing machines (if applicable) and escalate major problems.

Requirements:

Graduate/Diploma in Food Technology, Operations, or related field (preferred).
2–5 years of experience in packing operations in a frozen food / food processing / FMCG plant.
Knowledge of frozen food handling, packaging material, and cold chain management.
Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
Familiarity with hygiene, safety, and quality standards in food industry.
Willingness to work in shift operations.
