Packing Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Picker/Packer Labourers to join our warehouse team. The successful candidates will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick products from shelves or racks according to order slips or electronic scanners

• Pack items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc.)

• Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment

• Load and unload trucks and containers as needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

• Conduct basic quality control checks to ensure correct items and quantities

• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment

• Operate manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys (if trained)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehousing or manual labor preferred but not essential

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Physically fit and able to lift up to [X] kg

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Flexible with shifts and able to work overtime or weekends if required

Desirable:

• Forklift license (highly regarded)

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)

• Experience in pick-and-pack operations

Working Conditions:

• May involve standing for long periods and repetitive tasks

• Warehouse environment may be hot, cold, or noisy

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
