Job Description

Role & responsibilities

E
xecute packaging operations as per the production plan and approved SOPs.
Operate and monitor packaging machines such as blister, bottle filling, labeling, and cartooning machines.
Ensure line clearance before starting each batch with coordination from the QA team.
Maintain accurate documentation including BMR/BPR and logbooks as per GMP requirements.
Verify and reconcile packaging materials before and after completion of batches.
Follow cGMP and safety standards during all packaging activities.
Inspect packaging lines for cleanliness, correct labeling, and packing quality.
Coordinate with QA, QC, and maintenance teams for smooth production flow.
Report and document deviations, breakdowns, or discrepancies immediately.
Assist in equipment cleaning, changeover, and preventive maintenance.
Supervise operators and contract manpower to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives in the packaging area.
