Job Description

Position

Role Overview:

Packaging Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage
packaging material production activities
for adhesives and related products.
Ensure all packaging materials (tubes, containers, labels, cartons, etc.) meet
quality and design specifications
.
Coordinate with
vendors and purchase team
for timely procurement of packaging materials.
Monitor
machine operations
, manpower utilization, and packaging efficiency.
Implement
process improvements
to reduce waste and downtime.
Maintain
packaging production records, batch data, and quality documentation
.
Collaborate with the
Quality Control
team for material inspection and approval.
Ensure compliance with
safety, 5S, and GMP
standards in packaging areas.
Provide feedback and technical support for
new packaging development
initiatives.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
packaging material manufacturing and specifications
.
Exposure to
adhesive / chemical / FMCG industry
preferred.
Proficiency in
SAP / ERP
for packaging material tracking and documentation.
Good understanding of
machine operations, maintenance coordination
, and production planning.
Excellent communication, planning, and team-handling skills.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech
in Mechanical, Packaging Technology, or related discipline.
3-6 years
of relevant experience in
packaging material production or packaging operations
.
Candidates from
adhesives, chemical, or FMCG manufacturing
background will be preferred.
