Packaging Executive

The Production Supervisor Trainee will play a crucial role in assisting and executing all production processes within a single technical process or shift. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the areas under your supervision meet the company's standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and financial performance. As a multifaceted team leader, you will also be expected to undertake project work off shift as needed and act as a deputy in the absence of the shift manager. Your key accountabilities will include assisting in the day-to-day operations of the assigned area, ensuring that reports adhere to policies and procedures related to employee safety as well as food and feed safety. You will be responsible for monitoring product risks and ensuring that the quality meets customer specifications. Upholding company safety and hygiene standards will be a critical aspect of your role, and you will need to ensure employee and product safety by completing comprehensive training based on task procedures and individual requirements. In addition, you will be required to support and manage the production budget for your department, process, or shift. Mentoring production workers, participating in their selection process, managing holidays and welfare, conducting performance reviews, identifying training needs, and handling disciplinary issues will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to identify risks, recommend areas for improvement and innovation, and manage basic issues under direct supervision while escalating complex problems to appropriate staff members. Furthermore, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, effective communication skills, and the ability to develop teams. Being computer literate is essential for this role. Previous experience as a team leader in a production environment or a demonstrated ability in a skilled operative position, with a willingness to pursue further qualifications if necessary, is required. Additional qualifications may also be applicable. If you have Lean Six Sigma experience, it would be considered a preferred qualification for this position.,
