The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing packaging solutions that ensure product safety, compliance with regulations, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires expertise in operating packaging machinery and a strong technical background in packaging materials and processes. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Create innovative packaging designs that protect products during transportation and storage while minimizing waste and costs. Testing and Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing of packaging materials and prototypes to assess durability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Machine Operation: Operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in production processes. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing, to ensure packaging meets product specifications and consumer needs. Process Improvement: Analyze existing packaging processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of packaging specifications, testing protocols, and project progress. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all packaging solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in packaging design, development, and machinery operation. Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design principles, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in computer and packaging-related software. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to packaging materials and design. Preferred Skills: Experience with additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies. Knowledge of sustainability practices in packaging design. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
