Package Responsible Engineer (PRE)

As a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for Rotary / Static Equipment, your role involves being the main technical point of contact for equipment packages throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities include: - Acting as the technical lead for rotary/static equipment packages like compressors, pumps, turbines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other mechanical/static items. - Preparing and reviewing technical documentation such as specifications, datasheets, and procurement packages. - Conducting technical evaluations and providing procurement support during bidding and supplier selection processes. - Ensuring that supplier deliverables meet the required codes, project specifications, and client needs. - Monitoring supplier progress, documentation, quality control, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). - Coordinating interfaces with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders. - Participating in technical clarification meetings, design reviews, and risk assessments. - Offering technical support during installation, commissioning, and handover phases. - Maintaining comprehensive documentation and updating progress reporting systems regularly. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical engineering or a related field, along with 12-15 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with tools/software like Aveva Engineering, MS Office, and IFS is essential. The position is based in Stavanger, Norway, and is suitable for immediate to 30-day joiners. You should demonstrate strong coordination skills, a solid technical background, and the ability to manage risks and interfaces across all project phases. A good understanding of international standards such as API, ISO, ASME, DNV, and Danish legislation will be beneficial in fulfilling your duties effectively.,
