Role & responsibilities Study of project technical & develop Inspection categorization plan and obtain client approval Selection & Appointment of TPI/Second party Agency for Inspection activities Prepare Project presentation extract on QC points. Reply to Preorder QAP on supplier comments. Post order QAP Review & approve and submission to client Inspection planning along with approved documents Raise inspection call and arrange Inspection using our team/TPI Prepare/Review of Inspection reports of TPI & further follow up with supplier for punch point closure Co-ordinate with customer inspection and obtain customer clearance by submission of documents to obtain MDCC Issue of MRO Check and clear TPI invoices Participate/self-inspection of various components as and when planned Participate /conduct Vendor assessment & site audits when assigned Having inspection knowledge of Structural, Pipes, Static & Rotating equipments. Having inspection knowledge of Painting, NDT & PWHT Chart review. Having experience in reviewing of WPS / PQR & WQT and welding process knowledge. Job Knowledge Working Experience in 1. EPC Company (Oil& Gas, Power, Steel, Minerals and Water Sector) 2. Manufacturing Company(Heavy Engineering, Rotary Equipment, Static Equipment) 3. Good Knowledge in Scheduling tools such as Primavera/MS Projects to develop routine planning schedules and shutdown/turnaround integrated schedules. Good Experience in Maintenance cost estimation/budgeting to facilitate the Maintenance budget preparation Good Understanding of constraints related to maintenance planning and execution. Review junior employee work deliverables to ensure that they are matching with customer quality requirements. Lead the technical discussion with customer and represent the team for new engagements. Review of the exisitng maintenance execution processes and procedures to identify the opportunities for improvement. The Role: As a Rotating Equipment Engineer at Tecnimont, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for the design, installation, and maintenance of rotating equipment in the oil and gas industry. You will work closely with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure that rotating equipment meets all performance, reliability, and safety standards. In addition, you will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to rotating equipment during the operation phase of projects. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for the design, selection, and specification of rotating equipment, including pumps, turbines, compressors, and motors Review and approve equipment datasheets, specifications, and procurement packages Conduct technical evaluations of vendor bids and proposals Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipmen Provide input and recommendations for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities Develop maintenance and inspection plans for rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability Investigate and resolve any issues related to rotating equipment performance or failures Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure the successful integration of rotating equipment into overall project designs Keep up to date with industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements related to rotating equipment Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering and design of rotating equipment in the oil and gas industry. Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, turbines, compressors, and motors Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to rotating equipment design and installation Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
