Job Description

As the Manager of Compressor Development Package Design, you will be advising a team responsible for continuous improvement of compressor package standards and associated package design. Your role involves working in a global organization to deliver high-quality results on time. You must have technical knowledge and experience with compressor packages to engineer purpose-built products for traditional and emerging markets. Collaboration is key in this role within the Engineering & Product Management matrix organization, including interaction with customers from operations, procurement, and strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the Package Design Team to develop and deliver packages for traditional and emerging markets. - Drive excellence and efficiency in the group to deliver projects on time, in high quality, and within budget. - Develop competences in the team through structured training and development plans. - Collaborate with Package Architect team to update Engineering standards for project execution. - Seek guidance from peers and collaborate with other departments for successful project implementation. - Manage load and capacity using JIRA while maintaining priorities for progress and customer management. - Implement succession planning within the Package Design Team to develop local talents. - Measure organization performance through critical metrics such as Engineering efficiency, R&D budget alignment, and time to market. **Qualifications Required:** - Degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 8 years of work experience. - Technical understanding of rotating equipment with a focus on system/package and instrumentation/control. - Experience in leading R&D or Engineering teams in the oil and gas industry with knowledge of compressor packages. - Track record of driving innovation and strategic direction. - Strong analytical skills, ability to drive results, and implement strategic plans. - Excellent communication, networking, and leadership skills. **About The Company:** Siemens Energy's Transformation of Industry division focuses on decarbonizing the industrial sector by increasing electrification and efficiency.
