OTC Billing Analyst

Your Job

We are looking for a meticulous and driven Billing Analyst to join our Order to Cash (O2C) team. The successful candidate will ensure accurate, timely invoicing and strong financial controls, working closely with global teams across multiple time zones. This role is key to maintaining cash flow, enhancing stakeholder satisfaction, and supporting the overall finance / accounting function.

Our Team

The OTC finance team at Koch Inc. oversees the complete Order-to-Cash process by managing customer orders, invoicing, and timely payment collection. They work to optimize cash flow and reduce credit risk through detailed accounts receivable analysis. Additionally, the team collaborates closely with sales and operations to resolve billing issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

• Handle end to end billing operations within the O2C cycle: generating invoices, processing adjustments/credit & debit notes, and handling special billing requirements.
• Review contracts or purchase orders to ensure correct pricing, billing terms and compliance.
• Reconcile billing data: match supporting documentation with invoiced amounts; monitor unbilled services, deferred revenues, or accruals (if applicable).
• Respond to stakeholder / client queries with urgency and clarity; resolve discrepancies, disputes or billing issues.
• Meet billing deadlines across regions; ensure the process adheres to global / regional policies and internal controls (audit, compliance).
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams (Sales, Legal, Delivery, Finance, Master Data) to ensure accurate customer data, order fulfillment, and timely billing.
• Support month end / quarter end / year end close activities related to billing: reconciliations, revenue recognition, reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement or automation to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Maintain documentation of billing processes, SOPs, and performance metrics (KPIs) such as billing accuracy, cycle times, days to invoice, etc.
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance or related.
• 1- 3 years of relevant accounting / billing / finance experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Prior exposure to O2C billing processes or integration experience is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Very strong Microsoft Excel skills: data analysis, pivot tables, formulas.
• Good familiarity with billing systems, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to work on 2.30PM to 11:30PM or 4PM- 1AM shift and all 5days working from office.
