Oracle Technical Consultant

Role Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Technical Consultant who will design, build, deliver, and support Oracle solutions (EBS, Fusion, Cloud, or Hybrid) and integrations. The person will work closely with business stakeholders and functional consultants to translate requirements into technical specifications, lead technical design, customizations, integrations, support, and ensure high quality, scalable, maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead technical design, architecture, and solutioning for Oracle-based systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion / Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, etc.).
  
• Perform full system lifecycle: requirements gathering, technical specification, development, testing (unit, system, integration), deployment, maintenance, and support.
  
• Develop and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows RICEFW).
  
• Build integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Web Services (SOAP/REST), APIs, adapters, middleware tools.
  
• Data migration & conversion using tools & templates (e.g. FBDI, HDL, etc.) when moving between systems or upgrading.
  
• Develop reports & dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher (XML / Financial Reporting / etc.).
  
• Performance tuning: SQL / PL/SQL, application responsiveness, database optimization.
  
• Provide debugging, rootcause analysis, and resolution of technical issues, especially in production.

Desired / Preferable Skills :

• Certifications like Oracle Certified Professional / Specialist in relevant technologies.
  
• Experience on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or cloudnative services.
  
• Exposure to DevOps practices: code deployment pipelines, automated testing, CI/CD.
  
• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance (data access, roles, segregation).
  
• Exposure to scripting / other programming languages (Shell, Python, Java, etc.).
  
• Good communication skills: able to explain technical issues to functional or business stakeholder.
