Oracle Project Manager

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Project Manager to lead Oracle implementation / upgrade / migration / support projects from inception through golive and postgolive. The ideal candidate will have both technical understanding of Oracle solutions (EBS / Cloud / Fusion etc.) and strong project management skills. You will liaise between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver projects on time, within scope, quality, and budget.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, define, and execute Oracle projects (implementation, upgrade, migration, support) ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and resource management.
  
• Lead project kickoff, requirement gathering, fitgap workshops, stakeholder alignment, solution design.
  
• Develop detailed project plans: milestones, deliverables, schedules, dependencies, resource allocations.
  
• Monitor project progress: track tasks, deliverables, timelines, risks and issues; resolve blockers; escalate as needed.
  
• Ensure communication with all stakeholders: status reports, meetings, dashboards, change notices, requirement changes.
  
• Manage vendor / thirdparty relationships if external consultants or service providers are involved.
  
• Manage change control process: scope changes, approvals, impact assessments.
  
• Ensure project documentation is complete and maintained: requirement docs, design docs, test plans / UAT, deployment plans, training materials.

• Maintain project budget: estimate costs, track actuals, report variances, ensure cost control.
  
• Risk management: identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor project risks; maintain risk / issue logs.
  
• Quality assurance: ensure deliverables meet standards; perform reviews / audits as required.
  
• Continuous improvement: capture lessons learned; improve project execution methodologies; share best practices.
  
• Mentor / coach junior project managers or project coordinators (if applicable).

Desirable / Plus Skills :

• Certifications: PMP / PRINCE2 / Oracle Project Management / Scrum Master etc.
  
• Experience in Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud projects (if your company uses them).
  
• Exposure to multiple industries / large scale global / multiregion Oracle projects.
  
• Familiarity with integrations, data migration, reporting, analytics related to Oracle.
