Job Description

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for
Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions
.
Perform
unit, integration, regression, and functional testing
on Oracle applications.
Write and execute
SQL queries
to validate data and troubleshoot issues in Oracle databases.
Identify, report, and track defects using tools like
JIRA, HP ALM
, or
Quality Center
.
Work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure test coverage for all functional requirements.
Automate PL/SQL test cases using
utPLSQL
,
SQL Developer Unit Test
, or other frameworks.
Ensure data quality and integrity in production and non-production environments.
Participate in
Agile/Scrum
ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

Strong experience in PL/SQL development and testing
Expertise in:
- Writing
  SQL queries
  , joins, subqueries
- Creating and testing
  stored procedures, triggers, functions
- Data validation
  and backend testing
Familiarity with tools such as:
- Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD
- utPLSQL (unit testing)
- JIRA, ALM, TestNG (for test management)
