Job Description

Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer (with Java Exposure)

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust database applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
Build and optimize Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, and packages.
Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and scheduling mechanisms; perform query performance tuning.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed code.
Collaborate closely with business analysts to understand and implement feature requirements.
Engage with stakeholders for requirement gathering, clarification, and issue resolution.
Analyze and troubleshoot data processing workflows using PL/SQL functions and procedures.
Document new and modified development work for peer reference and knowledge sharing.
Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Work independently with minimal supervision, consistently meeting deadlines.
Communicate effectively and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to Java development, including Spring Boot, Apache Camel, SOAP services, and batch execution.
Experience in healthcare domain, particularly in payer systems, is a plus.
Familiarity with HealthEdges HealthRules Payor (HRP) system and HRDW/HRP Connector services.
Ability to create and manage inbound/outbound integration interfaces with HRP.

Work Environment:

Agile Scrum methodology.
Night shift availability required: 5 PM to 2 AM or 6 PM to 3 AM IST.
