Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), Microsoft SQL Server (2014/2016/2019), Oracle RMAN, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Oracle Enterprise Manager, Data Guard, AlwaysOn Availability Groups, T-SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Oracle GoldenGate, PowerShell, Shell scripting, OEM Cloud Control, Azure SQL, Backup and Recovery Tools, Monitoring Tools (SolarWinds, Nagios), and ITIL-based ticketing systems.

- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database setup, configuration, and administration.
- Proficiency in database backup and recovery strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery planning. - Expertise in database tuning, performance optimization, and query analysis. - Knowledge of Data Guard, AlwaysOn, log shipping, clustering, and replication. - Experience with user access control, auditing, and security patching aligned with RBI/NBFC compliance standards. - Skilled in automation of maintenance tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Shell). - Exposure to hybrid cloud/on-premise database management and migration projects. - Strong problem-solving and incident resolution skills with 24x7 production support readiness. - Ability to manage capacity planning, monitoring, and resource utilization. - Excellent communication and documentation skills for audit, compliance, and handover processes.

Job Description

- Administer, maintain, and support Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure database availability, reliability, and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance. - Design and implement backup strategies, perform regular restores and recovery testing. - Configure high availability and disaster recovery setups using Data Guard, AlwaysOn, clustering, and replication. - Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and index maintenance for improved efficiency. - Manage database users, roles, and access controls in alignment with IT security and compliance policies. - Conduct database patching and upgrades during planned maintenance windows. - Collaborate with application development teams for database design, deployment, and support. - Support data migration activities and troubleshoot data integration issues. - Create and maintain database documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams. - Participate in audits and ensure compliance with RBI/NBFC data governance standards. - Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure proactive response to issues. - Engage in capacity planning, license tracking, and vendor coordination.
