Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Perform database administration tasks such as patching, backup/restore, performance tuning, and recovery using Oracle DBA tools like RMAN. Configure and manage databases on Linux platforms to ensure optimal performance and security. Develop PL/SQL scripts for automation of repetitive tasks and troubleshooting purposes. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement data models, stored procedures, functions, and packages. Monitor database performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Desired Candidate Profile Strong knowledge of Oracle DBA tools like RMAN, Data Guard, Performance Tuning etc. 8-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries including joins, aggregations, subqueries etc. . Experience working on Linux operating system with ability to configure servers/services/users/groups etc. . Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech/B.E.).
