Job Description

Install, update, and administer Mainframe CICS products; Installing, upgrading, maintaining IBM CICS/MQ and related ISV products such as BMC MAPR, IBM tools(Fault Analyzer, Debug Tool); Monitoring of CICS regions, CICS Region Build, CICS regions monitoring using tools like Mainview, Omegamon; CPSM install and CICSplex WorkLoad balancing and high availability; Perform changes within company regulations and security standards; Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new/improved systems, as well as product upgrades; Attend meetings and interact regularly with management, team, and clients to continuously improve services; Participate in On-Call rotation schedule. Knowledge on administration tasks using various CICS Commands; Good-to-Have CICS Level 3 System Program Skills; JCL, ISPF, and SMP/E proficiency; z/OS System level Skills; 1.Initialize/Add new DASD volumes and Add new tape volumes. Perform the space management activities such as VTOC resizing, Defrag, Compress/Reclaim/Release/Cleaning of datasets. 2.Manage and Define SMS rules and ACS routines. 3.Manage and Maintaining DFHSM & Catalogs. 4.Storage dataset (RMM/HSM CDS & Catalog file) reorganization. 5.Disk and space management. 6.Experience in generating all type of storage reports, SMF and Dcollect. 7.Data/Volume level backup and restores. 8.Disaster recovery planning and performing the recovery test (Tape recovery / DASD Replication / Tape Replication / PPRC / XRC) and Managing the Copy services / GDPS. 9.Experience in Storage box data migration (DASD to DASD and Tape to tape) and Storage replication. 10.Product upgrades and configuration.(SMP/E knowledge) 11. Maintain documentation of the storage environment. Good-to-Have 1.Experience in Storage hardware subsystems including HDS 5100 2.Optica ZVT virtual tape controllers with IBM FS5200 storage devices.
