Oracle Database Administrator

Role Overview: Products, Cloud Engineering and Operations business function at Basware focuses on delivering industry-leading SaaS solutions to simplify operations and enhance spending efficiency. As an Oracle Database Administrator, your role will involve managing, monitoring, and optimizing databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security across various platforms like AWS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server. Key Responsibilities: - Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in AWS. - Manage MySQL, PostgreSQL (AWS), and SQL Server (Azure) based on your experience. - Monitor database performance, identify issues, and ensure 24/7 availability. - Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support. - Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. - Automate routine maintenance tasks, monitoring, and alerting for operational efficiency. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. - Hands-on experience with AWS RDS/Aurora. - Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server is advantageous. - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. - Ability to excel in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment. - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools is a bonus.,
