Oracle Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator at Basware, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Your main focus will be on Oracle databases in AWS, with additional experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server instances across AWS and Azure being a major advantage. This hands-on role requires a combination of database expertise, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to automation and monitoring. Key Responsibilities: - Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in AWS. - Manage MySQL, PostgreSQL (AWS), and SQL Server (Azure) systems based on your experience. - Monitor database performance, identify issues proactively, and maintain 24/7 availability. - Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support. - Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. - Automate routine maintenance tasks, monitoring, and alerting to reduce manual intervention. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years relevant experience. - Hands-on experience with AWS RDS/Aurora. - Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server is highly advantageous. - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. - Ability to excel in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment. - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools is a plus.,
