Oracle DBA with strong Azure migration expertise

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot

  Oracle databases hosted in Azure

  .
• Perform

  database installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations

  to Azure cloud.
• Implement and manage

  backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

  (Oracle Data Guard, Azure Site Recovery).
• Ensure

  data integrity, security, and compliance

  with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

• Optimize database performance

  through query tuning, indexing, and performance diagnostics.
• Automate routine DBA tasks using

  Azure Automation, PowerShell, or Bash

  scripting.
• Configure and maintain

  Azure storage solutions

  and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with developers and system admins to ensure smooth database and application operations.
  
• Develop and maintain

  data integration processes

  between ETRM applications and other systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for

  ETRM applications

  in real-time.

Domain Expertise:

• Experience in

  CETRM/ETRM domain

  (Commodity/Energy Trading and Risk Management).
• Familiarity with ETRM systems like

  Allegro, OpenLink

  , or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of

  Power/Gas Trading in European Market

  .

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of

  Oracle Database Architecture

  ,

  SQL

  ,

  PL/SQL

  , and

  performance tuning

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Azure services

  :

• Azure Database for Oracle

• Azure Blob Storage

  Azure Backup

• Knowledge of
