Completed work experience in a professional optometry setting, gaining insight into clinical practice and patient care

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

• Provided counselling to patients and their relatives, addressing questions and concerns regarding eye conditions, investigations, and treatment plans
• Explained examination results, treatment advice, and follow-up care in a clear and reassuring manner
• Performed and assisted with refraction procedures to determine accurate visual prescriptions
• Maintained a patient-centred approach while ensuring professionalism and confidentiality
• Observed professional standards, confidentiality, and hygiene procedures in a healthcare setting

Qualification: Diploma in Optometry/ Vision Technician/ BSC Optometrist.

Experience: 2-3 years
