Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive

    eye examinations

    and vision assessments.
  • Perform

    refraction tests

    and prescribe corrective lenses.
  • Assist ophthalmologists during diagnostic and treatment procedures.
  • Carry out

    contact lens fitting

    and provide guidance to patients.
  • Operate and maintain

    ophthalmic diagnostic instruments

    .
  • Maintain accurate

    patient records and reports

    .
  • Educate patients on

    eye care, lens usage, and vision hygiene

    .
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and hygiene standards.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualification:

    B.Optom / M.Optom / Diploma in Optometry

    .
  • 2-4 years of experience in

    hospital or eye clinic

    (freshers can apply).
  • Good knowledge of

    optical instruments and refraction techniques

    .
  • Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Willingness to work in a

    clinical/hospital environment

    .
