Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role located in Kochi. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations to assess patients' vision and eye health. Core responsibilities include prescribing and fitting corrective lenses, diagnosing and managing certain eye conditions, and providing education and guidance to patients on eye care and preventive measures. Additionally, the Optometrist will collaborate with other eye care professionals and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Maintaining accurate patient records and staying updated on advancements in the field are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing eye conditions, and providing accurate prescriptions for eyewear or contact lenses.
• Strong patient communication and counseling skills to provide information on eye care, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Attention to detail, precision, and accuracy in diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest optometric techniques, products, and technology advancements.
• A degree in optometry and a valid license to practice as an Optometrist.
• Compassion, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with patients.
• Experience in refractive care management, optical dispensing, or advanced treatment techniques is a plus.
