Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist based in Kochi. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams to determine patient needs, prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, detecting eye diseases, and providing pre- and post-operative care. Other responsibilities include educating patients on proper eye care, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye-related conditions
• Experience in prescribing and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Knowledge of eye diseases and their treatments
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and manage practice operations
• Teamwork and collaboration skills with other healthcare professionals
• Relevant professional qualifications and certifications in Optometry
• Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Optometry or related field
