Job Description · Perform complete eye examination. · Identify the patient’s visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination. · Diagnose sight problems, such as near-sightedness and colour blindness. · Writes prescriptions for glasses, contact lenses, corrective lenses, orthoptic and non-optical aids · Identify and assess eye defects and diseases · Maintain accurate medical files for all patients. Record all diagnosis and treatment plans including transfers and therapeutic prescriptions. · Providing emergency care and treatment, as necessary · Promote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniques. . Dispense and fit eyeglasses based on prescription requirements. . Provide excellent customer service to build long-term relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. . Dispensing Optician with relevant experience. . Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
