Kochi (Kerala)

Optical Design Engineer

Role: An Optical Engineer with extensive experience in Optical Design and Lens Manufacturing Process

Skill Sets Required:

Lens Selection based on spec/requirements. Lens Quality Tests and analysis of Lens flare, Geometric distortion, MTF plots, Lens aberration lateral and longitudinal, Lens Shading. Communication with lens vendors to provide module quality test reports or other technical details. Camera module inspection and verification(ISO12233). Solid experience in various advanced optical designs, including HUD, VR/AR lens and system design, mobile phone lens, variable-focal lens, fixed focus lens, and other optical applications
Experience in lighting application and simulation added an advantage
Familiar with Optical simulation tools like Speos, Zemax, etc
Optical simulation with Speos for automotive applications like AVM and RVC cameras is preferred

Responsibilities

The candidate is dedicated to meeting customers' vision of the product for the next generation with focused solutions, as well as predicting trends and technology applications to provide competitive and strategic product development plans.
