Operations Supervisor

You will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations as an Operations/Logistics Supervisor, ensuring the efficient movement of goods. Leading a team, coordinating deliveries, managing stock, and resolving operational issues will be crucial in ensuring smooth and timely operations. Your main responsibilities will include supervising logistics operations such as loading/unloading, stock management, and vehicle dispatch. You will lead and coordinate the logistics team to ensure efficient unloading, loading, and delivery processes. Monitoring vehicle movements, ensuring timely deliveries, and addressing any delays or issues promptly will also be part of your duties. Additionally, overseeing documentation (invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills) for accuracy and compliance, managing e-way bill extensions, and implementing efficient systems for inventory control and storage will be essential. Training and developing team members to enhance productivity, resolving operational issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflows will also be key responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies is imperative. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field and possess 1-2 years of experience in logistics/operations. Strong leadership and team management skills are required, along with knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, and transportation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software is necessary, and familiarity with e-way bills and vehicle tracking systems is a plus. Occasional travel to different locations may be required, and flexibility in working hours to meet deadlines is expected.
