Operations Supervisor

Are you someone who gets energized by making guests happy and helping a team shine? As a Operations Supervisor at Hotel V Frederiksplein, you are the hands-on leader of our front office and breakfast team: you’re in the thick of the action while keeping an overview, working closely with the Rooms Division Manager to make every day a little better for the whole department.You motivate your team, coach colleagues on the job, and make sure everyone knows what needs to be done. You are the go-to person for guests, handling questions and feedback with ease, and always keeping the atmosphere warm and welcoming.Together with your colleagues, you ensure a smooth, hassle-free guest experience. You keep the shop stock organized, suggest improvements, and maintain a sharp eye on hygiene and safety. And of course: you’re actively on the floor yourself — from checking in guests to making a cappuccino or pouring a glass of wine. Because as a supervisor, you don’t just lead — you lead with your team!Job requirements

About You!

• You enjoy organizing trainings to make your team even stronger, because excellent service and high standards are in your DNA;
• You are organized and attentive to safety, hygiene, and all hotel and bar regulations;
• Sustainability matters to you, and minimizing waste feels as natural as delivering great service;
• You have strong leadership and team management skills, with previous experience in a supervisory role in hospitality;
• Health and safety regulations are familiar territory for you;
• You speak fluent English — if you also speak Dutch, that’s a plus;
• Ideally, you live in or near Amsterdam;
• You are flexible and don’t mind working evenings, weekends, or holidays;
• You are looking for a full-time position.
