Lead Operations

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Manage daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met efficiently and on time.
  
• Drive continuous improvement through lean practices and process optimization.
  
• Monitor equipment performance and enforce preventive maintenance programs.
  
• Supervise production staff, promoting a culture of high performance and accountability.
  
• Develop and implement SOPs for operations and production activities.
  

Inventory & Supply Chain

• Ensure optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
  
• Collaborate with procurement teams and vendors to avoid supply disruptions.
  
• Plan and oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
  
• Improve warehousing, inventory control, and distribution cost-effectively.
  

Maintenance & Infrastructure

• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
  
• Ensure plant infrastructure adheres to safety and environmental standards.
  
• Prepare contingency plans for operational disruptions (equipment failure, power outages).
  

Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

• Ensure compliance with company and statutory safety regulations.
  
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and training programs.
  
• Implement emergency response systems and incident reporting structures.
  
• Foster a safety-first culture among all operational staff.
  

Team Management

• Lead and develop cross-functional operational teams.
  
• Identify training needs and upskill staff to meet evolving operational requirements.
  
• Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and provide continuous feedback.
  
• Promote collaboration and high engagement within the operations team.
  

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's: B.Sc. in Agriculture / Agri-business
  
• Masters degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent preferred.
  

Experience

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in plant operations, preferably in:
  

• Seed treatment

• Agrochemical

• Agricultural or chemical manufacturing

• Exposure to

  seed enhancement technologies

  ,

  polymer coating

  , or similar applications is a plus.
• Proven success in managing multi-functional operations teams.
