Operations Manager Freight

As an Operations Manager - Freight at Sky Ocean Logistics, your role will involve overseeing and managing freight forwarding operations, ensuring seamless coordination of shipments, compliance with regulations, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end freight forwarding operations including air, ocean, and land freight. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments - Monitoring and resolving freight-related operational issues and delays - Ensuring compliance with all relevant international and local freight regulations - Leading and supervising the freight operations team, providing training and guidance - Preparing operational reports, analyzing freight costs, and identifying process improvements - Maintaining strong client relationships and addressing freight service concerns - Working closely with sales and business development teams to support client requirements To excel in this role, you should have a Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in freight forwarding operations management is preferred, along with strong knowledge of air, ocean, and land freight processes and regulations. Excellent leadership and team management skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office tools is also required.
