About ShefMateShefMate is a Pune-based food-tech startup that connects families and working professionals with trained home chefs, bringing ghar jaisa khana, aapke ghar mein. We’re solving the daily cooking struggle by making fresh, hygienic, and homely meals accessible at home.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a founding team member to join us as Operations & Growth Lead on an equity-only basis. This is not a typical job — it’s a chance to build ShefMate with the founder and take ownership of scaling it in Pune.What You’ll DoRun day-to-day operations: chef assignments, bookings, customer support.Drive growth & marketing: housing society tie-ups, local events, pamphlets, community outreach.Build and manage relationships with customers and chefs.Collect feedback, referrals, and ensure repeat bookings.Work directly with the founder on strategy & expansion plans.What We’re Looking ForBased in Pune (preferably Kalyani Nagar area).Strong communication & people skills.Hustler mindset: ready to do ground work and think creatively.Entrepreneurial spirit — looking for ownership, not just a salary.Experience in operations/marketing/sales is a plus (not compulsory).What You’ll GetEquity (1–3%) in ShefMate with vesting (performance-linked).Direct mentorship from the founder.Freedom to experiment and execute your ideas.A leadership role in shaping one of Pune’s fastest-growing food service startups.CommitmentThis is an equity-based role (no salary initially).
