Operations Executive

Role Overview:

This role is based in Chennai and requires travel to other ports/plants like Tuticorin, Kakinada, Vizag, and Haldia. The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end site operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and handling logistics and documentation processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Operations Management (70%)

• Oversee end-to-end site operations, including vessel handling, discharge, bagging operations, and rake loading.
• Manage container handling operations, including documentation, bagging, bottling, and dispatch.
• Ensure quality product loading and delivery to customers by managing all operational aspects.
• Represent the organization with Customs when required.
• Vet import documents, calculate custom duties, and review checklists for filing Bill of Entry (BOE).
• Manage plant and port operations, including bill verification and compliance.
• Conduct physical verification of inventory quarterly in line with operational practices.
• Oversee inventory management for packaging materials, including deliveries from packaging vendors.

Logistics and Documentation (30%)

• Create Stock Transfer Notes (STN), Delivery Challans (DC), and E-Way bills for Bulk and Biosciences.
• Maintain daily and monthly reports.
• Manage monthly closing activities in SAP.
• Coordinate and follow up with service providers, transporters, and packing vendors.
