Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Handle
end-to-end USA ocean freight operations
(FCL/LCL).
Coordinate with
shipping lines, co-loaders, overseas agents, and customers
for smooth cargo movement.
Manage
booking, BL documentation, IGM filing, AMS/ISF compliance
and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure timely
rate filing, carrier booking confirmation, and schedule follow-ups
.
Monitor shipments, track containers, and provide proactive updates to customers.
Coordinate with
customs clearance teams, transporters, and CFS/ICD operators
.
Maintain
SOPs and service quality standards
for the USA trade lane.
Resolve operational issues and escalate complex cases when required.
Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to USA shipments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Graduate in
Logistics / Supply Chain / International Business / Commerce
(any discipline acceptable if experienced).
35 years of experience in USA ocean freight forwarding operations
is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of
USA trade lane documentation, AMS/ISF, carrier processes, and compliance
.
Proficient in
MS Excel, ERP / freight forwarding software (CargoWise, Logisys, etc.)
.
Excellent
communication and coordination skills
with overseas agents and clients.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
Candidates from
freight forwarding / NVOCC background
will be preferred.
