Operations Assistant

Role Overview: As an Operations Assistant at our company, you will be responsible for supporting daily plant operations, production coordination, logistics, and documentation activities for the Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) unit. Your role will involve assisting in scheduling, dispatch coordination, raw material tracking, and ensuring a smooth operational flow between production, quality, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning and monitoring daily RMC production and delivery schedules. - Coordinate with batching plant operators, site engineers, and transport teams to ensure timely dispatch. - Maintain records of raw material receipts, cement stock, aggregates, admixtures, and diesel usage. - Support documentation related to plant operations, vehicle logbooks, weighbridge entries, and trip sheets. - Track material consumption, RMC delivery slips, and customer acknowledgment copies. - Follow up with suppliers and contractors for material availability and delivery updates. - Assist in maintaining safety, housekeeping, and compliance records for plant operations. - Generate daily production, dispatch, and stock reports for management review. - Support coordination between operations, maintenance, quality control, and accounts teams. - Ensure timely communication and resolution of operational issues. - Assist Operations Manager in day to day activities. Qualification & Experience: - Diploma / Graduate in Engineering, Logistics, or Commerce preferred. - 1-3 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in RMC / construction materials / manufacturing.
