Job Description

As an Operational Insights Analyst at Novartis, you will play a crucial role in the Demand Management team by contributing to the delivery of high-quality data solutions, dashboards, and insights for tactical planning and execution. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the collection of business requirements, developing dashboards, automating reports, and ensuring alignment with data governance, processes, and business goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to identifying challenges, opportunities, and delivering actionable insights to empower decision-making for Novartis. Key Responsibilities: - Support the translation of business requirements into actionable data solutions, such as Power BI dashboards and reports, in coordination with the Operational Insights/Prioritization Lead. - Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, ad-hoc reports, and insights requests, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with Novartis business objectives. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities, enhance dashboard visualizations, and automate reporting. - Deliver timely monthly reports for internal key stakeholder groups, either manually or automated via Power BI. - Fulfill ad-hoc data requests based on stakeholder needs, contributing actionable insights for decision-making. - Coordinate onboarding for users of the tactical planning platform to Power BI Dashboards, reports, ensuring smooth adoption and system utilization. - Manage user access permissions for active users within the tactical planning platform's dashboards and visualizations. - Maintain data integrity across all active Power BI dashboards and reports. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. - 5-7+ years of experience supporting data and insights. - Proven experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense, and similar platforms. - Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and design dashboards aligned with strategic objectives. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly with Technology and Product teams. - Knowledge of pharma marketing creative and strategic deliverables, as well as SOW/scoping process, is considered a strong plus.
