Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced OT Technician specializing in Ophthalmology to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist ophthalmologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Prepare and maintain ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment.
Ensure a sterile environment in the operation theatre before, during, and after procedures.
Monitor patient vitals and provide support during surgeries.
Assist in patient preparation and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Operation Theatre Technology or relevant field.
1-5 years of experience in an ophthalmology or surgical setting.
Knowledge of ophthalmic surgical procedures and instruments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Basic understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
