Job Title:

Role Overview:

OT Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the operation theatre.
Lead, train, and monitor OT technicians, nurses, and support staff.
Ensure strict compliance with sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
Oversee pre-operative and post-operative preparations for patients.
Maintain and monitor OT equipment, instruments, and consumables.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams for smooth surgical operations.
Prepare duty rosters, manage shifts, and handle administrative responsibilities.
Maintain accurate records of surgeries, staff, and inventory.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Skills & Competencies Required:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
In-depth knowledge of OT procedures, equipment, and surgical protocols.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergency situations.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Qualification:

Diploma/Degree in OT Technology, Nursing, or relevant medical field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in an OT role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/incharge capacity.
