Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven professional with a proven track record of success in the exhibitions/trade fair industry. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of market trends, coupled with exceptional sales and operational skills, to maximize revenue growth and capitalize on sales opportunities in this dynamic and competitive sector. Functions : Strategic Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans for seamless execution for southern region. Ensure alignment of project activities with department goals. Implement effective project management methodologies. Exhibition & Sponsorship Sales: Design and execute marketing strategies to maximize visibility. Drive sales initiatives to meet and exceed individual and regional exhibition targets. Utilize innovative approaches to enhance attendee engagement. Craft professional and persuasive sponsorship proposals. Highlight the unique value proposition for potential sponsors. Drive sponsorship sales for all IMTMA organized trade fairs. Develop compelling sponsorship proposals to attract partners. Client Engagement in Southern Region: Conduct meetings with potential clients to boost exhibition sales in the southern region. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with Key Account Management (KAM) clients. Foster relationships with Key Account Management clients. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations. Address client queries promptly and effectively. Implement solutions to ensure client satisfaction. Respond to new enquiries proactively. Facilitate the closure of bookings through effective communication. Identify and nurture new clients in targeted sectors. Develop tailored strategies to expand market presence. Validate and update Key Account Management databases. Ensure accuracy and completeness of client information. Competition Tracking and Analysis: Monitor competitors' activities and market trends. Conduct thorough analysis to stay ahead in the industry. Prepare comprehensive reports on competitor exhibitions. Extract insights to enhance our own strategies. Exhibition & Operations Responsibilities: Ensure timely follow-ups for payment processing. Coordinate with Exhibitor Relation team to streamline payment procedures. Executing operations responsibilities for exhibition. Ensure smooth coordination of activities within the assigned hall. Trade Delegation Promotions & Meetings: Promote trade delegations and schedule meetings with user industries in the south region. Confirm participation to enhance industry connections and visits. Market Share Growth in South Region: Devise and implement strategies to develop and increase market share. Identify opportunities for expansion and market penetration. Review with Head of Department on growth. Reports to: HOD-Trade Fairs Qualifications - Graduation Preferably a MBA Essential skills: Ideally have experience in handling exhibitions / events with an excellent understanding relating to the exhibition/event industry. Conversant with Business applications software such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point internet and ability to prepare presentations/ fact sheets/agenda points for meeting Good communication skills (oral & written) Experience requirements : 10+ years Location: Bangalore The following additional Perks and Benefits are Borne by the organization and not part of the CTC : Gratuity and Superannuation.
