On-Field Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly operations.
• Ensure production schedules are met without compromising on quality or safety.
• Coordinate manpower allocation and monitor productivity.
• Conduct on-spot problem solving for technical and operational challenges.
• Ensure adherence to fabrication drawings, standards, and client specifications.
• Monitor usage of raw materials and machines to minimize wastage.
• Maintain daily progress reports and communicate with management.
• Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols and work discipline.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5

  + years experience

  in

  heavy metal fabrication / structural fabrication / automobile body building

  .
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding processes, and shopfloor operations.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and ensure accuracy on the field.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage a team of supervisors, fitters, and welders.
