We are seeking an experienced On-Field Production Manager to oversee heavy metal fabrication operations at our production site. The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day shopfloor activities, ensure quality output, and maintain smooth coordination between workforce, supervisors, and management. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly operations. Ensure production schedules are met without compromising on quality or safety. Coordinate manpower allocation and monitor productivity. Conduct on-spot problem solving for technical and operational challenges. Ensure adherence to fabrication drawings, standards, and client specifications. Monitor usage of raw materials and machines to minimize wastage. Maintain daily progress reports and communicate with management. Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols and work discipline. Requirements: Minimum 5 + years experience in heavy metal fabrication / structural fabrication / automobile body building . Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding processes, and shopfloor operations. Ability to read fabrication drawings and ensure accuracy on the field. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage a team of supervisors, fitters, and welders.
